                                       Welcome To Our Website!

Chevalian is a friendly yard situated in the beautiful shropshire countryside. The excellent facilities include: 26 stables and additional mare pens, an outdoor ménage, 5 horse walker, zamar machine and equine spa, two 5 horse lorries and 90 acres with paddocks for turn out. As such, we have an idyllic setting for training horses.

The yard is owned and run by Chris and Do Rickett along with our daughter Rosie. We have been treating horses here at our equine spa/recouperation centre, with great sucess since 2004.

International event rider Louise Lyons (Ireland) was based here for the 2010 season. Arthur Duffort (France) was riding the Chevalian horses until he broke his collarbone early in the season, we wish him a speedy recovery. Lindsay McCallum, has been schooling the event horses since then and has her first run booked at Mount Ballon (weather permitting!)  Rosie is still in Germany training with World and European Champion, Michael Jung! Michael hopes to be competing in Britain this season. Unfortunately, due to the wet weather, Badminton was cancelled but he hopes to be here for the Olympic Games later in the year.

Chevalian has breed 3 generations of sports horses and ponies which are sucessfully competing in various fields. We are now concentrating on breeding event horses. Our aim is to breed and produce top quality event horses for the future.
