Chevalian is a friendly yard situated in the beautiful shropshire countryside. The excellent facilities include: 26 stables and additional mare pens, an outdoor ménage, 5 horse walker, zamar machine and equine spa, two 5 horse lorries and 90 acres with paddocks for turn out. As such, we have an idyllic setting for training horses.
The yard is owned and run by Chris and Do Rickett along with our daughter Rosie. We have been treating horses here at our equine spa/recouperation centre, with great sucess since 2004.
International event rider Louise Lyons (Ireland) was based here for the 2010 season. Arthur Duffort (France) is currently riding the Chevalian horses whilst Rosie is in Germany training with World and European Champion, Michael Jung! Michael hopes to be competing in Britain this season, at Badminton in the spring and at the Olympic Games later in the year.
Chevalian has breed 3 generations of sports horses and ponies which are sucessfully competing in various fields. We are now concentrating on breeding event horses. Our aim is to breed and produce top quality event horses for the future. |
